Tibetan Prayer Flags
These flags can be seen all over the Himalayan range: Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, India (Sikkim, Darjeeling region, etc.). They can be found along mountain paths, at pass crossings or hanging from temples and houses.
Originally, in Tibetan Buddhism, they were used to communicate prayers to the gods, through the wind that moves them. In the home, they are used to bring an atmosphere of peace and serenity.
