Brass Church Censer with Lid – Ø 8 cm

This compact church censer made of polished brass is designed as a standing incense vessel for an altar, table or another suitable heat-resistant surface. With a diameter and height of approximately 8 cm each, it is suitable for traditionally burning pure frankincense and frankincense blends over charcoal.

The round vessel stands on three ornate feet and has a removable lid with a handle. Small decorative openings in the lid and bowl provide air circulation and allow the frankincense smoke to escape during incense burning.

Standing censer for frankincense

For incense burning, a glowing charcoal tablet is placed inside the vessel. Small amounts of pure frankincense or a frankincense blend can then be placed on top. The lid is then fitted so that the resulting incense smoke can escape through the openings.

Unlike a swinging church censer with chains, this model remains on its surface during use. Its compact design therefore makes it particularly suitable for stationary frankincense burning.

Instructions for safe use

Place the censer on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface. The glowing charcoal can cause the vessel and lid to become very hot. Do not touch with bare hands during or immediately after incense burning, and never leave glowing incense charcoal unattended. Allow it to cool completely before moving or cleaning.
