Product description
Washi Incense No. 5 by Kunjudo is the fifth fragrance variation in this distinctive series of Japanese incense papers. The perfumed strips of washi paper are used like incense and release their fragrance composition as they slowly smoulder.
The individual paper strips feature small English messages such as Sweet Dreams, All the best, Cheer Up!, Deep Breath or Have a lovely day!. In this way, Kunjudo combines Japanese washi paper with fragrance and a small personal message, making the strips suitable as an addition to a letter or gift.
Fragrance profile of Washi Incense No. 5
No. 5 has a warm, spicy and balsamic character. The composition combines cinnamon, clove, benzoin, ryunou and amber with additional fragrance notes. Cinnamon and clove shape the spicy side of the fragrance, while benzoin and amber contribute warm, balsamic and sweet facets. Ryunou (borneol or Borneo camphor), an aromatic substance known in Japanese fragrance culture, adds a distinctive fresh accent.
Easy to use Japanese incense paper
To use, place a single paper strip in the supplied stainless steel holder. Briefly light the upper end and then blow out the flame so that the paper slowly smoulders. During use, place the holder on a suitable heat-resistant surface and do not leave the incense paper unattended.
The perfumed washi strips can also be used without burning. They are suitable, for example, for fragrancing drawers, wardrobes or the car. A strip can also be enclosed with a letter or added to a gift, combining the printed message with its fragrance.
