Kunjudo Washi Incense No. 1 – Japanese Incense Paper

Washi Incense No. 1 by Kunjudo is an unusual Japanese incense paper that combines the aesthetics of traditional washi paper with a modern way of fragrancing interior spaces. The narrow, perfumed paper strips are used like incense and release their fragrance composition as they slowly smoulder.

No. 1 is the first of five fragrance variations in Kunjudo’s Washi Incense series. The strips feature small English messages such as Sweet Dreams, All the best, Cheer Up!, Deep Breath or Have a lovely day!. This also makes them suitable as an original little scented message or as an addition to a letter or gift.

Fragrance profile of Washi Incense No. 1

The fragrance composition combines jasmine, coriander, rose, sandalwood and vanilla with additional fragrance notes. Floral accents of jasmine and rose meet spicy coriander, warm sandalwood and the soft sweetness of vanilla.

Easy to use Japanese incense paper

To use, place a single paper strip in the supplied stainless steel holder. Briefly light the upper end and then blow out the flame so that the paper slowly smoulders. During use, place the holder on a suitable heat-resistant surface and do not leave the incense paper unattended.

The perfumed washi strips can also be used without burning, for example to fragrance drawers, wardrobes or the car. A strip can also be enclosed with a letter, adding a subtle fragrance alongside the printed message.
