Product description

Ispalla Palo Santo Incense Sticks are made in Peru using genuine Palo Santo wood (Bursera graveolens). According to the manufacturer, the wood used comes from trees that have fallen naturally and is processed without cutting down trees.

Palo Santo, often referred to as “Holy Wood”, is an aromatic wood from South America and has long been used for incense, particularly in Peru. These incense sticks offer a practical way to experience its characteristic fragrance without burning pieces of wood directly.

Fragrance and character

When burned, the sticks release the characteristic fragrance of Palo Santo: warm, woody and aromatic with subtle balsamic nuances. As genuine Palo Santo wood is part of the incense blend, the natural character of the wood remains at the heart of the fragrance.

Handmade incense sticks from Peru

The incense sticks are hand-rolled in Peru. According to the manufacturer, the product also has official certification from the Peruvian authorities confirming that it is produced with consideration for the protection of natural Palo Santo populations.

One pack contains 10 incense sticks. The burning time is approximately 30 min per stick.

How to use

Light the tip of the incense stick and allow it to burn briefly. Then gently blow out the flame and place the glowing stick in a suitable incense holder. As it burns, the Palo Santo fragrance gradually spreads through the room.

Those who prefer to burn Palo Santo in its original form can alternatively use Palo Santo wood pieces from Peru. Another interpretation of this wood in incense-stick form is Shoyeido Overtones Palo Santo, in which Palo Santo is combined with other incense ingredients.
