Brass Incense Pan with Wooden Handle – 15 cm

This brass incense pan with wooden handle is a practical incense vessel for traditional incense burning over charcoal. The vessel has a diameter of approximately 8 cm and a total length including the handle of approximately 15 cm. The perforated lid allows the incense smoke to escape during use.

Its design is inspired by traditional church incense vessels, but the side handle distinguishes it from standing censers or those suspended from chains. This allows the incense pan to be conveniently picked up and moved from one place to another during incense burning.

For frankincense and incense blends over charcoal

The incense pan is particularly suitable for burning pure frankincense and incense blends over a glowing charcoal tablet. The incense charcoal is placed inside the brass vessel and, once fully glowing, sprinkled with a small amount of incense material. The lid can then be fitted.

Instructions for safe use

Although the wooden handle makes it easier to pick up the vessel, the metal parts can become very hot during use. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
