Stone handicrafts from North India
You will find in this section a selection of handicrafts from the north of India, turtles or elephants in carved stone, stone boxes, elephants in glued stone.
All these objects come from the state of Uttar Pradesh, especially from the city of Varanasi (formerly Benares). The carved stone boxes are particularly representative of this type of craft.
