This traditional incense is produced on Mount Athos in Greece. It is made from high-quality frankincense resin from Boswellia papyrifera from Ethiopia, refined with the delicate fragrance of Ceylon Cinnamon. The gentle spiciness of true cinnamon blends harmoniously with the balsamic notes of frankincense, creating a balanced fragrance composition.

Mount Athos is an autonomous monastic republic in northern Greece and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. Around twenty Orthodox monasteries shape life on the peninsula. Some of them continue to produce incense today according to traditional monastic recipes.
