Copper Incense Bowl – 10 cm

This copper incense bowl is a traditional incense vessel set on a small pedestal base. With a diameter of approximately 10 cm, it provides sufficient space for sand and incense charcoal and is suitable for burning resins, aromatic plants, fragrant woods and incense blends.

For use, the bowl is filled with a layer of fine sand. The lit incense charcoal is placed on the sand and allowed to become fully glowing. Small amounts of the desired incense material can then be placed on the charcoal. The sand forms an insulating layer between the glowing charcoal and the copper vessel.

Burning incense with charcoal

Burning incense over charcoal is particularly suitable for natural resins and other loose incense materials. Compared with gently heating incense on a tealight burner, this method produces a more intense fragrance and more smoke.

Instructions for use

Always place the incense bowl on a stable, heat-resistant surface and fill it with sufficient sand. Never leave glowing incense charcoal unattended. The copper can become very hot during incense burning; therefore, only touch or move the bowl after it has cooled completely.
