Cedar Smudge Stick

Cedar bundle, widely used for protective fumigations. It is also one of the four sacred plants on the Amerindian medicine wheel (along with White Sage, Sweet Grass and Tobacco).

Its smoke is said to attract good spirits and eliminate negative energies.

This is a different botanical variety from Cedrus (Atlas or Himalayan Cedars). A plant more closely related to a type of Thuja for its fragrance. It is also known as California White Cedar or Incense Cedar.
